Federated States of Antarctica

Each of the Soviet Bills (SB) are numbered and named.

Soviet Bill 1: Metric system  

I. State measurement

The State of East Antarctica willhereby recognize the metric system as the official statewide system ofmeasurements, and is to be used along with the US customary measurements

II. Traffic signs

All traffic signs are required to display both US and metric.

III. Education

Both metric and US are required teaching within the state.

SB2: Religious restriction laws  

I. Atheism

Atheism is defined as the lacking of religionand faith in their beliefs. The State of East Antarctica is herebydeclared an atheist state with no recognition, sponsorship, or endorseof any religion.

II. Religious freedoms

No lawshall be passed that declares religion illegal or banned form thestate's jurisdictions. People are allowed the freedom of their beliefto worship and practice any religion.

III. Display of religious symbolism

Nolaw is to be passed which declares a religious symbol to be banned. Nogovernment building is to show any symbolism. Privately owned propertyis allowed to express their beliefs in any manner that the owner wishes.

IV. Government and religion

Anyand all forms or religion and religious symbolism is banned andforbidden in any and all government owned and run property andbuildings.

No religious body or group is allowed to declare theremoval or banning of any and all forms of personal expression from thepublic based on that the work is against their religious beliefs.

Noperson, while acting in an official capacity within a governing orjudicial body of the State of East Antarctica, the politicalsubdivisions thereof, or the East Antarctica State Corporation, shallrefer to or cite religious literature or doctrines.

V. Burial

The act of ritual burial of all living creatures is prohibited by law in the State of East Antarctica.

SB4: Domesticated animals  

I. Ownership

No law is to be passed which declines the possession of any domesticated animal. All pets must be licensed in order to own.

SB5: Formal declaration of statehood into the FSA

I. Statehood

To ensure the security and sovereignty of East Antarctica and its ideals, the state shall officially declare statehood into the Federated States of Antarctica on November 29, 12009.

Drugs and Narcotics Act

This act is to ensure the citizens of East Antarctica the right to purchase, possess, and use any and all forms of drugs and narcotics.
